Women of every generation are invited to browse through this website, for it belongs to each and every one. We hope that you will find encouragement and inspiration to serve our Lord more effectively. If you would like to write an article concerning women, please send it to us and we will do our best to place it so others will profit from it. We are open to all suggestions and comments.

Thank you and enjoy your visit!

  • Blandine Bazié

Blandine Bazié started to work for the Lord during her college and university years in Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso), and has continued in Bayreuth, Germany, and, since 1999, in Montreal and St-Jerome, in the province of Québec. Holding a degree in management and in communication, she has held many positions in public office in Quebec and also in the area of community services. She has also founded, with her husband, an organization that helps impoverished children in Burkina Faso; a number of children benefit from this, receiving care and schooling.

Blandine Bazié has been involved in different Christian ministries:

    - In Germany, she and her husband worked as missionaries and visited many churches. They also created a deliverance and healing seminar to help many people in need.

    - In the local church (www.acnord.com), alongside her husband, she has been in a leading position for the last few years. She is the coordinator of children’s ministries, of women’s ministries and of intercessory prayer. Among other things, she has put into place a prayer-and-share group for women, in which, thanks to the atmosphere of active listening, the practical advice taken from the Bible and the absolute confidentiality, many women find the support and friendship they need.

Blandine Bazié is also a speaker and a mentor. Her greatest passion is to inspire the people she meets to take possession of their identity in Christ so that their lives can be truly fulfilled.

  • Lucia Fernandez

Mrs. Fernandez de Sierra is a doctor of clinical psychology and a family mediator. She has served the Lord since her childhood and is involved in several ministries. She particularly loves this verse, “the truth will set you free,” which she puts into practice daily.

The session offered by Mrs Lucia Fernandez Sierra is entitled: Being assertive. Can we say no? It will be divided into three sections:

    1) A time to a case study and discuss it in small groups (find the best solution for a common problem)

    2) A presentation of the art of being assertive and how to set limits. What is a limit? The problem with imposing limits

    3) Discussion

    Joy Johnston

Joy grew up in the Montreal area. From an early age, she was sure she would be a veterinarian. But after she received Christ as Saviour at age 19, she discovered that God had other plans! For several years she worked as a registered nurse. In 1989, she felt a call to China, where she served as an English teacher until 1991.

After returning to Canada, she became senior pastor of Kahnawake Pentecostal Church in a First Nations community near Montreal. During her fifteen years of ministry there, she was also involved in short-term missions to northern First Nations communities and to several African nations. In addition to her pastoral and missions work, she served as a part-time chaplain in public elementary schools.

In 2007, Joy founded Joy Johnston Ministries, Inc. and launched into full-time ministry as a missionary-evangelist. While she ministers in various regions of North America and the world, her main ministry focuses are in Quebec and Uganda, East Africa. Joy is an itinerant minister with the District of Quebec of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, and a Global Worker under appointment with the PAOC International Missions Department as a Canadian-based "Minister in Partnership." Her life and ministry have been enriched as she has moved back and forth between North American and International assignments. Joy's heartbeat is to see people restored to a right relationship with God and ignited with a passion to fulfill the Great Commission. Her preaching style has been characterized as “simple, yet powerful,” “communicating life and not only knowledge,” and “demanding a response.”

Joy currently lives in Chateauguay, Quebec. She has a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies, and a Master of Divinity degree in Missions. She is an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.
